St. John finally warned away additions, subtractions, and alterations of his REVELATION: the same might be said of the whole Bible ... but implicitly, we aught to know the self-completeness of Scripture. Ancient popes, priests, and scribes sought historical evidences: stifling their own contributions of direct proofs of Christianity (they should have done greater works, as Jesus predicted). Ancient thinkers extracted their first faint glimmers of understanding the larger cosmos (greater than the Earth itself, and certainly greater than their world of the Fertile Crescent); and modern ordinary sciences expand on this, corroborating, explaining, and renewing (reminding) our thought of what is estimably true and majestic beyond all homely bounds.
Beginning (then) with the cosmos, this heaven and all its hosts of stars (suns) and planets (Earths) and the galaxies (Milky Ways) in galaxies of galaxies of them, as created by the inexorably good mental forces of the one absolute God-Principle, even infinite, indefatiguable Mind or I AM ... before our Earth was founded or our sun located among the stars, or even before their place was set and established in our galaxy ... when our galaxy had only its first giant stars, but few planets, for there was not yet much earth/dirt in the cosmos ... the cosmic night sky was neither cold nor cool, but temperate, even warm; and upon the small airy planets below, the creatures and people wore no heavy coats, for there was no ice formed anywhere on land or sea, nor in the north or south, nor at the poles, for the cosmos had not yet chilled ... there was no ice found anywhere in the whole galaxies near or far, save in the tiny laboratories of extremely curious scientists, for it was not cold enough for ice or snow to freeze on any Earth, nor in any sky above, nor any waters beneath. There was abundant life on most every really Earth-like planet: those farther from a sun had life around their equators only, for their poles, though warm, were too dark, and those nearer a sun had life about their poles for their polar summers, but their equators were too warm, too hot .... but exceptionally small moon-like planets had no atmospheres; and very large planets generated their own inner heat to extremes, and no life grew there save bugs or air-bacteria in the upper (still dense) atmosphere where it was cooler. The cosmos was majestically docile, and wrapped in its background warmth; it's cries were frequent, super-giant novae stars bursting brilliantly and then fleeing away, and lasting but a year. The people were wise to their cosmos: they knew their pleasant planets and giant suns would not last forever: superstars were short lasting, and novae brought mutant dirt; they would have to move their nations to other planets, newly formed, until there was not enough room for all persons. They could reform moons into giant space-station cities, but then they would be missing all the beauty of the daylight and seasons: they'd become astronauts, scientific navigators among the stars. They could easily find and reach remote, large, gas (bag-like) planets in the still warm and somewhat airy cosmos, that had no solid ground and almost no gravity, no sun (no day) nor rain, and there set-up home and planet living with their own scientific atomic-powered light and heat furnaces: a necessary chore to keep their people happy and prosperous. But even that plan would shrink and collapse, long after the planners had finished and gone, and the cosmos cooled, inexorably. And in that day also, the radioactive elements which men fear in our day, were short-lasting (the cosmic aether was more energized) and much rarer, and frequently found after a night of shooting-stars (cf. meteors) for they were new. The heavens seemed more promising to inter-stellar travellers, and men sought to their God for longevity and health, and spread across the galaxies with their sciences and technologies.
And in the day that ice began to form in cold weather, then men were not surprised, for their science explained such marvels, and they knew the cosmos had entered a new order among the stars and planets: rains froze-out on polar caps, atmospheres dried, lands parched, vegetations shriveled and toughened, men and animals became carnivores, frequent meat-eaters, and mankind began to worship their own suns and planets, having abandonned their one cosmic God. When vegetation failed altogether on the coldest planets, it first used-up all the oxygen of the atmosphere, exhaling carbon dioxide which in yet later cooler eons froze-out and collapsed onto the colder polar caps.
In the day (about the time) our own Earth formed, and the cosmos had long cooled and chilled to far-colder than polar winters' night, and ice was found everywhere, and the galaxy and all galaxies were cumulatively filled with supernovae remnants more numerous than the very stars, and each greater than our own sun, but cooler than our Earth, (these) black death stars, spawned in fury, roamed the star lanes, and frequented everyone with their poisonous brew of the dirtiest dirt possible, and by their prominence diminished or prevented or even swallowed the development of very large stars, so that astronomers today find only a few giants in their searches among the constellations. And planets and tiny stars were more numerous, from all the dirt spewed-out by the earlier hordes of expanding past novae. Astronomers (know) the rogues abound nearby because occasionally one collides with a small space moon or 'comet', and for a brief instant moment shines again in x-rays, y-rays, and neutrino burst-pulses. [The 1974 neutrino-event is one such candidate.] And since our Earth began, our own solar (sun) system may have been so visited every some millions of years: if one comes 'tomorrow', scientists and technologists will clamor for the centuries, for about as long as it takes to pass through noticeably, for it will pass through quickly, and leave behind great concern for the orbit stability and atmospheric cleanliness of our Earth about our sun; if one (does) come 'tomorrow', science will lose its public support over its unreadiness. A purer Science will thereupon evolve, and again capably predict novae as surely as eclipses. However, today's technology will have missed its one near opportunity to leave the solar system at a significant percentage of the speed of light: its one near chance to explore the stars in a common man's lifetime; and Earth culture will revert to worship the darkness (as happened to the generation after the moon landings).
And eons later, eventually in a day to come, Earth dwellers, the cosmos' dwellers, will come to identify the next cosmic phase: the galaxies will mostly disappear from the cosmic night sky; the universe of swirling blackened stars will seem dark in the finest telescope; the sun(s) will all go out; the last of the planets will freeze-over; uranium and its et-ceteras will no more decay, and men shall forget their fear of that technology, and the cosmos will seem docile again, but very, very cold: so cold that the dark 'carbon' stars and interstellar plasm vapors shall (eventually begin to) super-conduct electrically, and magnetise, and so, 'close' the cosmos in electro-magnetic knots, drawing the clusters of galaxies back toward the cosmos' center; civilizations will have used the last of their abundant atomic fuel supplies, and huddle in orbits around neutron stars for warmth and glimmers of light within their deep gravity wells catching and fusion-burning the last remaining atoms in the cosmos, but occasionally in aeons, stars collide, releasing local fresh supplies ... and mankind, with only memories of stars far, far away across the cosmos remaining for astronomers peering into the outer darkness, with weeping and gnashing of teeth (MATT8:12), shall have mostly either abandonned their learned sciences like Judas, and resorted to diving into the gravitation super-holes remaining at the galactic centers, therein to learn to do it all again ..., or like Jesus, shall have risen to a new cosmos infinitely outside the present matter-predominated (anti-matter paucitied) frame upon human thought: the sheepfold gathered into the Father's house, the oneness of God sought again: alone in the affections.
[We must note here in closing that the plausible actual would become speculative if we merely imagine what persons may have done, said, meant ... the importance is in the demonstration of the Christ Science: not to rediscover that which is today abundant, but discern and live it]
